This is the official website of the Clan Macrae Society in Scotland. Originally from the Kintail area of Highland Scotland - Eilean Donan Castle was their stronghold - the clan has seen great misfortune at Sheriffmuir, Glen Shiel and Culloden. The clan was later scattered by the Highland Clearances.
